Enjoyed the read, Megan. :-) It really should be a simple process to 'meet the right one' for you. Unfortunately, it isn't. We all come together with our own perspective on life. Being open and honest and true to ourselves is all we can control. Making the other person feel comfortable enough to open up to us in return, is the start of a successful exchange. And who knows where this will lead to? Vulnerability on both sides is important to move the relationship forward and understand each other a little bit better. It is also important to let the other person know if they are not right for us. Although it may be difficult to say, letting them know they are a lovely person - but just not the one for you - helps keep dignity intact. By wishing each other well you leave a situation glad to have met another decent human who has the same basic desire to 'meet the right one' for them. Onwards and upwards... Be brave, go forward, and know your soulmate is out there waiting for you!
